Wheatland Bank's Response to COVID-19

Wheatland Bank Update - COVID-19 as of March 17, 2020

Thank you for choosing Wheatland Bank as your financial partner.  We are tremendously grateful for all of the wonderful customers who have made Wheatland Bank’s success possible over the past four decades and our hearts go out to all those impacted by COVID-19.  As always, the health and well-being of our customers, employees and communities are our top priority.

Given the evolving concerns around COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), and in an effort to do our part in slowing the spread of COVID-19, we are re-directing in-person branch traffic to utilize our drive-thru services and temporarily closing all public spaces within our branches including the lobby and meeting rooms, except for in Chelan and Ellensburg as those branches do not offer drive-thru services.  For those customers who require entrance into the branch, or our Home Loan Center in Spokane, to access their safe deposit box or sign paperwork, we will make arrangements by appointment for that to take place.

These changes will go into effect on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. We plan to resume full branch access on Monday, April 6, 2020, subject to public health conditions at that time.

Wheatland Bank continues to offer many additional options to serve your banking needs:

Online and Mobile Banking

We encourage you to manage your accounts using Online and Mobile Banking. These 24/7/365 services allow you to safely view transactions, check balances, make payments, deposit checks and more – right from the comfort of your home.  Now might also be the time to set up your Apple Pay® / Samsung Pay® / Google Pay® if you are feeling uneasy about having retailers handling your debit or credit card at the grocery store register.  If you need any assistance with Online or Mobile Banking, please call us at 509-624-2255 or visit www.wheatland.bank/contact-us and send us an email.

ATMs

Our ATMs, located outside of our branch lobbies, are accessible 24/7/365.  For those needing to withdraw cash from a non-Wheatland Bank ATM, please remember that Wheatland Bank will automatically refund non-Wheatland Bank ATM fees up to $10 per month for customers with a personal checking account.  You may also want to consider requesting cash back at the grocery store or gas station as most of those retailers offer this service.

Drive-Thru and Night Drop Services

Our drive thru services remain available during regular hours and offer most banking services. If you don't have a vehicle, you are welcome to visit our drive thru locations on bicycle or as a pedestrian. For your safety, we recommend using the lane closest to the building and ask you to be alert to other traffic. Customers may also continue to use the night drop boxes available at all of our locations and those transactions will be processed daily.

Contact Us

As always, you are welcome to call our team at 888.896.2577 throughout the business day for assistance. Please note, you may experience an extended wait time due to high call volume. Your patience is appreciated.  If you would prefer to send us an email, please feel free to send a message to webcustomerservice@wheatland.bank.  Our Telephone Banking system is also available 24/7/365 at 888.345.5146.

Loan Customers

Credit is still flowing to our customers as usual, and new loan requests are still being taken.  Our local loan staff continues to be available by phone or email to meet your credit needs.  Please reach out to your loan officer or local branch for assistance.

We're here for you!

For over 40 years, Wheatland Bank has served the communities of eastern Washington.  We remain steadfast in our support and will continue to be here for our customers during these unprecedented times.  If you’ve experienced a disruption in income as a result of COVID-19 and need assistance, please give us a call to discuss your personal situation and to learn how we might help.

Like all challenges, COVID-19 will come to an end, hopefully sooner rather than later.  Wheatland Bank’s continued strength and stability will allow us to work through these challenging times with you, our customers and friends.  We look forward to continuing to serve you and re-establishing full branch services once the need for social distancing diminishes.  We appreciate your understanding.
